Kenzie Gardinier drove in 6 runs on two hits to lead Galway JV past Canajoharie 18-2. Emma Menge struck out 12 batters. Galway jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Kristina Becker doubled scoring two runs, Menge drew a walk scoring one run, Gardinier drew a walk scoring a run and Anna Watson singled scoring two runs. Galway extended their early lead with three runs in the top of the third thanks to RBI singles Maggie Newsom and Gardinier. Overall Galway collected 11 hits. Newsom led Galway with three hits in four at-bats. Becker and Watson each collected multiple hits for Galway.
